Local McDonald's Demolished Ahead of Rebuild

Shelby, NC (WNN) - If you're craving fast food, you may want to avoid the McDonald's located at 2001 E. Cleveland Mall beside the Country Inn & Suites in the Cleveland Mall parking lot, as the restaurant is currently being torn down.

So why is the building being torn down? The demolition is part of preparations for a full renovation project, for which McDonald's has not yet provided a reopening timeline.
