DALLAS, NC – The Gaston County Museum of Art & History, in collaboration with
The Gaston County Department of Public Health, and Latinos Aventureros, is pleased to present “Somos Día a Día: Wellness Paths,” a community-based photography art exhibit highlighting the connection between nature, mental health, and physical well-being.
The exhibit is on display in the first-floor program room of the Museum through November 1, 2025.
This bilingual exhibit invites visitors to experience powerful visual stories created by members of the Latino community. Through photography and personal reflections, participants share how everyday outdoor experiences—whether in parks, gardens, trails, or backyards—promote healing, reduce stress, and strengthen holistic health.
For many families, outdoor spaces help reduce anxiety, promote physical activity, nurture spiritual connection, and foster reflection.
The exhibit highlights nature as a free and accessible tool for wellness, encourages dialogue about health, culture, and environment, and strengthens bridges between public health and community identity.
Admission to the Museum is free. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturday 11:00am – 4:00pm. For more details and more information, visit www.gastoncountymuseum.org.
