Pizza Inn Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Cherryville

Cherryville, NC (WNN)—Pizza Inn officially celebrated its grand opening in Cherryville on Tuesday, July 1st, at 11:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony drew local officials and residents despite the summer heat. The new restaurant, located at 1002 East Main Street, replaced Papa's Pizza.

Local Leaders Welcome New Business

Cherryville Mayor H.L Beam welcomed Pizza Inn to the city, emphasizing the excitement of having a business with an established reputation for quality.

"We're so glad that Pizza Inn decided to make a home here because they have such a good reputation," Mayor Beam said. "We don't worry about the quality of the food because it's already established in the chain. If there is anything the city can do for you, just give us a call at City Hall."

Chamber of Commerce Expresses Support

Pete Craft, chairman of the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce board of directors, echoed the mayor's sentiments. He expressed gratitude for Pizza Inn choosing Cherryville. Craft also shared a personal connection to the location, noting his father's involvement in setting up the electrical work for the previous restaurant, Papa's Pizza, many years ago.

'This has been a good place, and we don't believe that will change," Craft said. "It will continue to be a good place for people to come and enjoy time together and fellowship with a meal."

Craft offered the Chamber's support to Pizza Inn's manager, Linda, and her staff, extending best wishes for the new establishment.

A Warm Welcome and Future Hopes

After the ribbon-cutting, guests went inside, excited to get away from the heat and try the food from Pizza Inn. The launch signifies a fresh beginning for the familiar location.

As leaders from the city and local businesses share hope for Pizza Inn's achievements and its ongoing function as a place for community gatherings. The residents of Cherryville can now take pleasure in the well-known pizza chain, looking forward to many years of great food and community in their hometown.
