Hand and Heart Collective Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Posted

Cherryville, NC (WNN) - A new business is taking root along East Main Street in Cherryville this spring season. The Cherryville Chamber of Commerce welcomed Hand and Heart Collective, located on 214 E Main St Cherryville, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Hand and Heart Collective, founded by Brittany Anders and her mother, Celeste Gillott, is an indoor artisan market where vendors can rent a space and showcase their handmade goods. What first took root as a small idea in December of 2025 quickly grew into something much bigger: a shared vision to cultivate something unique in Cherryville.

"We had talked about joining a similar shop, but then we thought, why not bring something like this to Cherryville," - Brittany Anders, Owner of Hand and Heart Collective

Brittany found herself in Cherryville when she moved from Alabama at just 11 years old.  After attending Cherryville schools and moving to Spartanburg for a few years, she decided to return to her Cherryville roots.

In just over a month, the collective has grown to include 20 vendors, with plenty of room to continue flourishing. Those interested in becoming a vendor can fill out a Google form pinned to the shop's Facebook page or message the business directly to receive the application link.

The shop's grand opening celebration bloomed into a full weekend event, featuring local food trucks, an Easter-themed raffle basket filled with vendor items, and a steady flow of community members coming out to show their support.

This business stands out as a fresh addition to Cherryville's small-business garden, offering a place where creativity can grow, and the community can support local, handcrafted work right in the heart of Cherryville.
