Cherryville, NC (WNN) - A new retail store, The Perpetual Bloom, has officially opened in Cherryville as of Tuesday, January 27th, 2026. It is located at 106 East Church Street.
Store Owner Tyler Williams says the business works similarly to Spirit Halloween. But instead of shutting down, the products are switched out for each season.
"Right now it's not really a season, so you see a lot of furniture, but then you also see it kind of going in the spring and summer at the same time," Williams said.
Williams had been a store manager at Big Lots since 2018. When the company was bought by Variety Wholesalers and changed its focus to clothing, Williams decided to leave and open his own store.
"I really liked it. But whenever they got bought out by variety wholesalers, they went away from this style of store and went into clothing," Williams said. "I just wasn't a fan of clothing, so I decided to go out on my own."
For those looking to support Williams' business, you can stop by the store. Its hours are as follows: Closed on Monday and Sunday; open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm.
You can also find the store on Facebook by clicking here. There you will find updates and additional photos of the store.
